ABOUT me
hey! my name is freya,
i am a self taught tattoo artist, based in the new forest.
I have been in healthcare since 2010, with experience in many different kinds of nursing, ending up as a permanent registered theatre nurse / surgical first assistant between 2017-2024.
i have been tattooing my friends since 2016, and after having my two babies decided to pursue my hand poked tattoos full time. ​
In an industry that has long been hyper-masculine, many people, specifically women have felt like standard tattoo shops have not been a place for them.
It has become my passion to create a safe and welcome space for people from all walks of life.

A tattoo process is and should be a truly unique and sacred process from the design, positioning and hand poking your tattoo. The whole journey should be precisely what you want, for your own body.

My private little garden studio is nestled amongst the ferns, at my home on the outskirts of the new forest national park, lymington. in the calm and quiet, chat whilst we tattoo, sit with music or blissful silence, an opportunity to set intentions.
Marking yourself with something that will be a new part of you is so incredibly meaningful.
